I’m Enjoyiana Nururdin, a journalist, writer, and storyteller from Madison, Wisconsin. My work has taken me from local government reporting in my hometown to journalism school in New York City, and now into a growing collection of projects that explore politics, culture, community, food, travel, creativity, and everyday life.

Here you’ll find my journalism and Reporter’s Notebook, essays and personal reflections, features, cultural commentary, creative writing, and stories that don’t always fit neatly into a newsroom. Some pieces are reported. Some are deeply personal. Some are simply ideas I couldn’t stop thinking about.

This space is also where I’m building the larger world of my work: from local government and civic storytelling to travel, food, lifestyle, and the many questions that make life interesting.
